Questions

What players ask before their first fight.

Is Monster KO free?

Yes. The whole story campaign is free to play. Monster Pro, an optional subscription, adds extras such as a progress chart and a streak shield, and there are optional in-game purchases. Pro never sells power you can't earn by playing.

Do I need gloves or any equipment?

No. You need your phone, a place to stand it at about chest height, and roughly a metre of free space in front of you. That's it.

How does the game see my punches?

The front camera and on-device pose tracking follow your head, shoulders, elbows and fists. Throw straight punches for jabs, punch up from below for uppercuts, and lean left or right to dodge. A short calibration at the start learns your reach.

Is the camera recording me?

No. Each frame is analysed in your phone's memory and thrown away. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or shared, and in duels your opponent never sees your camera. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Is it a real workout?

It's shadowboxing cardio: every fight is a real round of punches and dodges. After each fight the game estimates calories from your time, punches, dodges and body weight, and tracks your training days and a weekly punch test. It's a game, not medical advice, so read the safety notes first.

Can I box against my friends?

Yes. Challenge a friend or enter the Global Arena: one 60-second round, every punch is telegraphed on your rival's screen, a perfect dodge opens a counter, and wins earn trophies from Bronze to Champion.

Does it work offline?

The campaign does. Friends, duels and the Arena need an internet connection.

Do I need an account?

No, you can play as a guest. Sign in with Apple, Google or email to save your progress in the cloud and keep it when you change phones.

Which phones does it support?

iPhone with iOS 15 or later, and Android 8.0 or later with a front camera. Newer phones track more smoothly.

What languages is it in?

English for now.

When does it come out?

Soon, on the App Store and Google Play.

How do I delete my account?

In the game: Settings → Online account → Delete account. Or follow the steps on Delete your account.
